We are fortunate to have Secretary Brautigan as a guest speaker. He has had a distinguished mlitary career and is currently the Acting Secretary of California Department of Veterans Affairs (Roger Brauigan's Bio).
Mr. Brautigan presentation will be "CalVet: Mission focus amidst fiscal crisis!" He will provide an update on what is new at California Department of Veteran Affairs (CDVA), their focus during the remaining tenure of Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger, and the impact of the fiscal crisis on their operations.
He will also touch on what we as individuals and a community can do to support our returning soldiers as they transition back into our families and community.
